Increasingly this year (2020) ART 17 has has taken the supply shortage of the Australian framing industry and turned it to our advantage by offering our clients unique, one of a kind, custom painted frames and matboards.
For us this is nothing new, we've been customizing our frames this way since we opened our doors in 2015 for select clients.
Now we are pleased to offer the service to all our clients, with a selection of examples available on our Instagram account @art17customframing (link at top of page!).

If you have an idea for your custom painted framing, we will work with you during the design process at your consultation to determine the best process to get the finish you are after. Alternatively, you can do what most of our customer's do and let our FRAME ARTIST have creative control to use our 20 years of experience to create you a unique MASTERPIECE.

We can custom paint any frame to achieve the desired finish for the profile you prefer. No longer are you limited to the options provided by the industry suppliers.
